Cancellation Policy

Understanding Our Guidelines for Changes and Refunds

This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, credits, and cancellation fees will be applied for reservations at Fox Lake RV Resort.

Standard Reservation Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations 15 to 30 Days Prior to Arrival

A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied. The balance will be refunded to the original payment method.

• Cancellations 7 to 14 Days Prior to Arrival

A refund of 50% of the total reservation amount will be issued. The remaining 50% will be retained as a cancellation fee.

• Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Prior to Arrival

No refund will be issued. However, guests may reschedule their stay for a future date. The amount paid will be held as a credit on the guest’s account, valid for 12 months from the original arrival date.

• No-Show Policy

Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and fail to notify the resort will forfeit the entire reservation amount. No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

Seasonal Lease Cancellation Policy

• Deposits for Seasonal Leases

All deposits for seasonal leases are non-refundable. 

• Cancellations Before Moving In

If a cancellation is made before moving the camper into the resort, a $200 cancellation fee will be applied. The remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded to the original payment method.

• Cancellations after 30 days stay.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations after 30 days on the property. Deposits paid will be forfeited; however can be transferred or credited to future stays with no $200 cancellation fee charged.

General Terms and Conditions

• Rescheduling

If a guest is eligible to reschedule (per the “Less than 7 days prior” policy), the credit will be valid for 12 months from the original arrival date. It is the guest’s responsibility to contact the park to reschedule.

• Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date of cancellation will be based on the date and time the request is received.

• Force Majeure

If the park is forced to close due to natural disasters, extreme weather, or other unforeseen events, management will determine refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.

• No Verbal Exceptions

Only the terms listed in this policy apply to cancellation requests. Verbal promises or agreements from staff that contradict this policy will not be honored.
