Resort Rules for a Safe and Enjoyable Stay

This property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow and respect our Policies.

Age Requirement
Customers registering to rent a campsite must be 21 years or older.

Check In/Out- Length of Stay for short-term stays
Check-in time: 3 p.m. Please plan your arrival so you can have your campsite set up by dark. Check-out time 2 p.m. Departure after 2 p.m. will have an additional charge. ​​ Holidays have a 2-day reservation requirement. (Even if you can only stay for one day, a two-day reservation is still required.) Weekends – No minimum reservation required.

Quiet Times
To keep Fox Lake peaceful and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all guests to follow these quiet hours:

Sunday–Thursday: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Friday & Saturday: Midnight to 8:00 a.m.
Children 16 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while enjoying the campground.

We love a good time as much as anyone but Fox Lake is meant to be a relaxing lakeside retreat, not a party campground. Please keep music, outdoor TVs, and personal speakers at a respectful volume at all times. If neighboring campers are disturbed, you may be asked to lower the volume or turn it off.

For the comfort of all guests, loud parties and wind chimes are not permitted.

Insurance Requirement
R.V.s onsite must be registered and insured. ATV/UTV/Golf Carts must also be insured.

Fox Lake RV Resort Policies

SEASON:
We offer both short-term and long-term stays, with daily, monthly, and seasonal options available. Water hookups at campsites are weather-dependent from the end of October through April, but our pavilion provides heated bathrooms with showers and toilets year-round. Additionally, we have convenient coin-operated laundry facilities for our guests.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES:
RV units must be in good working order and condition; approval of camper at discretion of owners based on condition and working order. All RVs must be registered and insured. Classes of RVs allowed are Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers, Fifth Wheels, and Class A and C motorhomes. Pop-up campers are not authorized. RVs not fitting these classes will be considered on a case-by-case basis as approved by FOX LAKE RV RESORT, LLC (“Owner”).

AUTHORIZED VEHICLES:
ATVs, UTVs, and Golf Carts are permitted on Fox Lake RV Resort property, provided that all leaseholders carry insurance on any motorized vehicle and provide a copy of this insurance to the lessor with their signed lease. Lots are permitted no more than 2 ATVs or Golf Carts per lot. Additionally, all ATVs, UTVs, and Golf Carts must display 5-inch white or silver reflective lot numbers in a visible location to be allowed on Fox Lake RV Resort property. These vehicles must be in good working condition, equipped with lights, and adhere to Iowa State Law, requiring operators of full-size ATVs, UTVs, and Golf Carts to be a minimum of 16 years of age, with helmets required for all riders under 16 years of age while on Fox Lake RV Resort property. ATVs, UTVs, or Golf Carts are prohibited on the beach at all times. Leaseholders must ensure that any individual operating their cart meets the aforementioned requirements, as failure to comply may result in lease privileges being revoked. Riding ATVs on this property is done at your own risk. The area is not equipped with guardrails, and steep embankments are present. By entering and operating an ATV, UTV, and Golf Carts, you acknowledge the inherent risks and assume full responsibility for your safety. The property owner is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur

SPEED LIMIT
The speed limit within the camping area is set at five (5) MPH for all motorized vehicles, and this limit will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all residents. All motor vehicle operations must be conducted by licensed drivers aged 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

VANDALISM/THEFT
Any individual(s) or their guests caught vandalizing or engaging in theft of any property will have their lease terminated immediately and will no longer be permitted on Fox Lake RV Resort property.

BEACHES:
Glass bottles or containers of any kind are prohibited on the beaches. Please ensure all belongings are taken with you when leaving the beach area. Motorized boats are not allowed in the swimming area, and fishing is prohibited in or around the swimming area while swimmers are present. Swimming is at the swimmer’s own risk, as no lifeguard will be present at any time.

GUESTS:
Each tenant will be permitted a maximum of 10 persons or the number that can be comfortably accommodated on their lot, whichever is less. Parking on other tenants’ property is strictly prohibited without their explicit consent, and all tenants must show respect for others and their property at all times. Tenants may set up one tent on their own lot for a maximum of 24 hours, subject to approval by the manager prior to arrival. Only one tent per lot is permitted, and long-term tent camping is strictly prohibited. Failure to inform management of guest arrangements will result in the guest being asked to leave, and tenants must always be present with their guests.

SUPERVISION OF MINORS:
Any individuals under the age of sixteen (16) years must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the lot, without exception. It is imperative that minors remain off property leased by others and refrain from entering the property of other lessors. Failure to comply with this rule may result in lease termination due to any problems or situations that may arise from non-compliance.
